The power of music is overlooked, but it often changes lives. Music education is crucial for any student’s social, intellectual, and emotional development. It is widely accepted and known that young people who actively engage in learning and making music perform better academically than students who are not involved in music education. With funding for school music programs on the decline in the recent years, community support is more important than ever before. We want to make music education as accessible as possible to as many student we can, while providing the sense of community we have here at B2B2 Barrio. Supporting music means supporting a brighter academic future for present and future students. Come join us and support the first Albuquerque community event that directly supports music education in schools!
